Summer Camp FAQs
You have questions, we have answers.
What’s Summer Camp?
Summer Camp is a two-day, in-person conference hosted by Zipline happening June 24-25 in Denver, CO. We’ll focus on all things optimizing Zipline — from product to processes and people — to help ensure you’re equipped to make the biggest impact possible on your organization.
Is there a registration fee?
Summer Camp is free for customers with the exception of travel and lodging expenses. Once attendees arrive at the venue, we’ll take care of meals, most beverages, and entertainment.
When is the deadline to register and reserve a room?
Friday, May 23, was the deadline to register and reserve a room in our room block at The Curtis Denver; the deadline was to ensure we’re all set to provide attendees with the best Summer Camp experience possible.
If you’re planning your Summer Camp attendance after May 23, please use the registration form here. For lodging, registrants are welcome to book a room at The Curtis Denver, subject to availability and standard room rates, or at a nearby hotel in downtown Denver. Once you have lodging secured in Denver, please let us know by emailing summercamp@zipline.inc so we can best prepare for your confirmed attendance. Thank you!
I’m driving! What do I need to know about parking?
The Curtis Denver offers self-parking for all vehicles. There’s a discounted parking charge of $22.50 plus taxes for each vehicle parked overnight.
If staying at The Curtis Denver, this charge can be posted to your room. If not staying at The Curtis Denver, please stop by the hotel front desk to receive a parking validation sticker that will automatically apply the discounted rate upon departure.
Which airport should I fly in to?
We recommend traveling in and out of Denver International Airport (DEN), which is a ~30-minute off-peak / ~60-minute peak traffic drive to/from The Curtis Denver.
Did you know? Denver International Airport is the second largest airport in the world (it’s twice the size of Manhattan!). We strongly recommend getting to the airport no less than 2.5 hours early for your return flight.
Is there a dress code?
What you wear to the office works for us! That said, it’s helpful to note that we’ll be indoors for sessions and enjoying meals outside — weather permitting — so we recommend dressing and layering accordingly.
When is check-in?
We’ll have a few different event check-in opportunities to accommodate everyone’s travel schedule. Once registered, keep an eye on your inbox a few weeks ahead of the event for details and more!
As for The Curtis Denver, check-in begins at 4:00pm MT, and check-out is by 11:00am MT.
Will the discussions or presentations at Summer Camp be shared externally?
Zipline will not share any session recordings with the general public without the presenter’s consent. Summer Camp is designed to be a safe space to share for all attendees to ensure you get the most out of your time with us. Read our Code of Conduct to learn more.
How can I connect with other Summer Camp attendees?
We built in plenty of time to connect with fellow Campers during the event, including the Welcome Reception, group meals, roundtable discussions, and fun on- and off-site activities. Campers can also provide their LinkedIn URL while registering so others can quickly scan a QR code on their name badge to stay connected beyond Summer Camp.
What if I need to cancel?
We’ll miss you, but we get that life happens. If you can't make it, notify us at summercamp@zipline.inc and contact The Curtis Denver at 303-571-0300 to cancel your room reservation.
Individual hotel room cancellations must be received by The Curtis Denver seventy-three (73) hours prior to arrival to avoid any cancellation fees, which equal one night’s room fee and taxes.
What if I have more questions?
We’re ready for ‘em! Give us a shout at summercamp@zipline.inc
