Code of Conduct

We want your Summer Camp experience to be nothing short of amazing.

That’s why we have a Code of Conduct to lay the foundation for a safe, inclusive, and really fun time.

This Code of Conduct applies to all attendees — Zipline employees, speakers, guests, and event partners. We take this seriously, and we want you to know we’re here to support you.

people

Our guiding principles:

Welcome everyone with kindness and respect

All attendees are expected to show respect and courtesy to each other, and harassment, discrimination, bullying, and disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated, condoned, or ignored.

Zipline strives to be a company that welcomes and supports people of all backgrounds and identities. This includes — but is not limited to — members of any race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, color, immigration status, social and economic class, educational level, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, size, family status, political belief, religion, and mental and physical ability.

One of the best things about Summer Camp is sharing ideas and best practices with each other across the Zipline community and the wider retail industry. Not all of us will agree all the time, but disagreement is no excuse for inconsiderate behavior. Unacceptable behavior towards others includes but is not limited to: threats of violence or violent language directed against another person, discriminatory or sexual jokes and language, personal insults, harassment of others, and other conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

What if something happens: If you have concerns that this Code of Conduct has been violated, don’t hesitate to reach out to our Head Camp Counselor and Zipline Chief Customer Officer, Deri McCrea. Any Zipliner will be able to assist you in contacting her immediately. We’ll work in good faith with the parties involved to ensure that any unwelcome behavior stops immediately and do whatever we can to ensure all Campers feel comfortable for the duration of the conference.

Balance ideation with expectations

At Zipline, we balance careful evaluation with decisiveness to make the most informed decisions quickly and stay ahead of the curve. That said, all attendees will agree that any topics discussed do not guarantee or allude to the promise of future features, actions, and innovations from Zipline.

If you’d like to discuss any part of your Summer Camp experience, don’t hesitate to reach out to our Head Camp Counselor and Zipline Chief Customer Officer, Deri McCrea.
