What’s Summer Camp?
Summer Camp is Zipline’s cornerstone event, designed for the people who champion their brand’s frontline operations. Through programming focused on highlighting relevant and timely topics, it’s where you’ll gain next-level tools for impacting results, connect with like-minded industry peers, and have a little fun in the process. ;-)
When will the agenda be available?
The full Summer Camp 2026 agenda will be available in May. We’ll let you know when it’s live so you don’t miss a beat. Until then, here are the need-to-knows to prepare for a good time:
- Monday, July 13: Welcome Reception at 6:30pm CT to connect with fellow Campers and kick off our seventh annual Summer Camp. If you can build this into your travel plans, we highly recommend joining us to meet your fellow Campers and kick off Summer Camp on a high note!
- Tuesday, July 14 + Wednesday, July 15: Breakfast, lunch, breaks, and sessions from 8:00am to 4:30pm CT daily
- Tuesday, July 14: Plan for a fun night out on the town!
Is there a registration fee?
Summer Camp is free for customers, with the exception of travel and lodging expenses. Once attendees arrive at the venue, we’ll take care of meals, beverages, and entertainment.
How do I register?
You can register for Summer Camp here! Once registered, we’ll send you a confirmation email within two (2) business days to verify you secured a spot and provide additional travel planning details.
How do I reserve a room?
We have a limited block of rooms at the discounted rate of $349 USD/night (plus taxes and fees) at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel, our venue for this year’s Summer Camp.
A room can be reserved by either:

We strongly encourage reserving a room as soon as possible; once the rooms are gone, they’re gone!

When is the deadline to reserve a room?
If staying at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel, please reserve your room by Wednesday, June 17. This is a firm deadline, and we are unable to hold rooms or guarantee availability after this date.
If unable to book a room by June 17, registrants may book a room at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel, subject to availability and standard room rates, or at a nearby downtown Chicago hotel.

When are the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel’s check-in and check-out times?
Check-in begins at 4:00pm CT, and check-out is by 12:00pm CT. Early check-in before 8:00am CT is available for $100 USD, and for $50 USD for an early check-in between 8:00am and 12:00pm CT.
What if I’m staying at a different hotel than the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel?
That’s all good on our end! We know some brands may have internal policies on which hotels their employees may book.

I’m driving in. What do I need to know about parking?
The Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel offers valet parking for all vehicles at a daily rate of $78 USD. If parking overnight, there is an overnight fee of $88 USD.

I’m having a tough time securing a budget to travel. Any tips?
We hear you, and we’re here to help. We prepared a helpful travel letter that provides the information your organization may need to help work Summer Camp into your 2026 plans. Connect with your organization’s Account Manager for the template that lives in the Zipline Community Center; they’ll be happy to send it your way!
Which airport/transportation hub should I travel into?
Chicago has two major airports: O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Midway International Airport (MDW). Both are roughly the same distance from the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel. You’re welcome to ride-share to and from either airport; the drive may be 30-60+ minutes depending on traffic.
If you’re comfortable navigating public transportation:
If taking Amtrak into Chicago, Union Station is an easy 5-minute drive from the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel.

- The Blue Line is a direct option to and from the O’Hare International Airport, with a stop .3mi from the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel

Is there a dress code?
What you wear to the office works for us! That said, we’ll be indoors for sessions and recommend layering accordingly (conference rooms can be chilly!).
When is check-in for Summer Camp?
Checking in for Summer Camp is separate from checking into the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel. We’ll offer several check-in times to accommodate everyone’s travel schedules. Keep an eye on your inbox the week before Summer Camp for check-in desk time and location details!
How can I connect with other Summer Camp attendees?
We build in plenty of time to connect during the event, including the Welcome Reception, group meals, roundtable discussions, and fun on- and off-site activities.
Once registered, you’ll be added to an exclusive Summer Camp 2026 Group in the Zipline Community Center so you can begin getting to know your fellow Campers before coming together in Chicago. Campers can also provide their LinkedIn URL when registering online, which we’ll compile into an attendee list, so Campers can stay connected after Summer Camp and beyond.

We’ll miss you, but we get that life happens. If you can't make it, notify us at summercamp@zipline.inc and, if applicable, cancel your Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel room reservation by either using the custom reservations link or calling 800-627-7468.
Reservations can be cancelled with no charge up to three (3) business days before arrival. Any cancellations after this window are subject to a charge of one night’s room and tax.
